Ted Janowitz, age 84, beloved husband of Thelma Janowitz, happily married for 56 years; loving father of Evan (Julie) Janowitz and Beth Janowitz; cherished grandfather of Skylin Janowitz; adored brother-in-law of Bernie (Roz) Berg, Rita Janowitz and Lydia Berg; preceded in death by his brothers Jules and Sidney Janowitz and brother-in-law Rabbi Naftali Berg; Ted was a treasured uncle to Michael (Alison) Berg, Alex Berg, Karen (Dani) Levin, Margula (Shimon) Roumani, Tsyrl (Eli) Turen, Bentsion (Iza) Berg and Rivka (Moishe) Reinetz. Chapel service Sunday September 16, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park.
